My first attempt at blogging! I'm excited to see where this takes us in this world of Language Arts integrated with technology! Look for posts on handhelds, SMART Boards, software apps, digital photography, and movie production. Wish me luck!

Most blogger's are ages 13-29, thus I think I'm a bit too old! Seriously, I don't think it's for me, I would rather share my thoughts and "talk" in person!
But I do appreciate the fact that it may motivate students to read and write!
I think blogging will be a wonderful way to have my students journal. Blogging will be an easier to way to respond to them as well.
Never having used a blog before there is some interesting information I wasn't aware of. I could see myself exploring and using this format a lot more.
I think blogging would be another effective way to get students to write which is great. Personally, I would like to do this with my boys (like your brother did) especially since our family is so geographically spread out. This would be cool for them to look back on some day. The only reservation I have is putting them out on the web.
